Job summary

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is hiring an Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler. You will partner with a trained K9 to search client sites, including corporate buildings and delivery vehicles. The role requires a minimum of five years of canine experience and pays $30.10 per hour with a canine stipend.

Must have personal vehicle for transporting the K9, housing for the K9 partner, and prior military, law enforcement, or corrections experience. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• Two years in military, law enforcement, or corrections.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a trained Explosive Detection K9 to conduct searches at client sites.
• Train the Explosive Detection K9 daily and ensure safety.
• Coordinate with security, law enforcement, and client representatives per post orders.
• Follow regulatory protocols and use required technology.
