Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler to work with a trained K9 partner at client sites including corporate buildings and loading docks. The role requires a minimum of two years in military, law enforcement, or corrections, and a personal vehicle for K9 transport.

Housing for the K9 partner is provided. The position offers paid training, an hourly pay rate of $30.10 with a $4 increase when clearance is obtained, and a canine stipend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years in military, law enforcement, or corrections is required or preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle to transport K9 partner and housing for K9 partner.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a trained Explosive Detection K9 to conduct searches at client sites.
• Coordinate with client security, law enforcement, and partners on security protocols.
• Train the Explosive Detection K9 daily and ensure safety and compliance with policy.
• Comply with all regulatory protocols and use of required technology.
