Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Handler to screen cargo in compliance with TSA rules. The role requires completing a 4–8 weeks minimum team training course and certification before mobilization to the assigned location.

The Handler will participate in CCSP training and perform duties with a trained dog, including X-Ray screening and trace detection. The position involves maintaining training records and certifications, caring for the canine, and possible travel with varying shifts, including nights,

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Citizenship held for at least 3 years prior to application.
• 1–2 years of experience handling an explosive detection dog.
• Ability to obtain KTN within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Ability to obtain SIDA badge within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Ability to obtain Airport STA within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Must have reliable transportation with climate-controlled vehicle for canine transport.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record in the last 3 years; REAL ID or passport required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify threats.
• Conduct authorized duties for X-Ray, physical search, and trace detection as needed.
• Perform Handler duties while commanding a trained working dog.
• Maintain training records for all canine and handler activities.
• Care and maintenance of assigned canine; dwellings must be suitable and inspections may occur.
• Maintain all job-related certifications and required security clearances.
• Willing to operate company vehicle during on-site training.
• Work hours vary; nights, weekends, holidays, and travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
