Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Handler to screen cargo in accordance with TSA rules. The role includes completing a 4–8 weeks minimum training and certification prior to mobilization to the assigned location, and involves working with a trained canine.

Responsibilities include training, maintaining records, on-site travel, and varied work conditions with exposure to weather. Citizenship, security clearances, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required and citizenship must have been held for at least three years.
• Ability to obtain KTN, SIDA badge, STA, and airport badge within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Must have or be able to obtain security clearances and security-related certifications.
• Strong written and oral communication with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Screen cargo and participate in CCSP training to identify threats.
• Perform duties related to X-Ray, physical search, and trace detection as needed.
• Maintain training records and care for assigned canine, including home living arrangements subject to inspections.
• Operate company vehicle during on-site training and travel as required.
• Work in variable conditions, including nights, weekends, holidays, and adverse weather.
