Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Three+ years of citizenship prior to application.
• Experience handling explosive detection dogs in operational environments.
• Ability to obtain KTN, SIDA badge, and STA within weeks of employment.
• Valid driver's license with clean three-year driving history; REAL ID or passport required.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work varied hours in all weather conditions.
• Must pass program-specific testing and certifications within weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Screen cargo in compliance with TSA rules and regulations.
• Participate in training to identify threats and perform X-ray duties.
• Perform handler duties while working with a trained canine.
• Maintain training records and canine health/care at home.
• Ensure certifications and security clearances are kept current.
• Operate company vehicle during on-site training as needed.
• Work in variable conditions, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel as required by customer schedules.
• Other duties as assigned
