Job summary

Constellis seeks a Junior Handler to screen cargo in compliance with TSA rules, following a 4–8 weeks training and certification prior to mobilization to the assigned location.

You will conduct X-Ray, physical search, and explosive trace detection duties with a trained canine, while maintaining training records and required security clearances. Expect varied hours, potential travel, and outdoor work.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Known Traveler Number (KTN) within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Threat Assessment (STA) for Airport Badge within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Must have adequate transportation to transport assigned Canine and Crate inside the vehicle.
• Must pass applicable Contract Testing and Certifications within 4–8 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify potential threats.
• Conduct authorized representative duties related to X-Ray, physical search, and explosive trace detection as needed.
• Perform Junior Handler duties while commanding a trained working dog.
• Responsible for maintaining training records.
• Maintain training records and care of the assigned canine, living area inspected regularly.
• Must maintain all job-related certifications and required security clearances.
• Must be willing to operate the company vehicle during on-site training.
• Work hours vary: nights, weekends, and holiday hours; travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
