Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Junior Handler to screen cargo under TSA rules, with a mandatory 4–8 week training and certification prior to deployment. The role requires managing a trained canine, maintaining records, and obtaining necessary security clearances, KTN, and SIDA within weeks of hire.

Responsibilities include X-ray and explosive trace detection duties, field work in varied weather, and occasional travel. A valid US driver's license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must obtain KTN within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Must obtain SIDA badge within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Must obtain STA for Airport Badge within 4–6 weeks of employment.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean record; REAL ID or passport.
• Must pass program-specific testing and certifications within 4–8 weeks.
• Able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Participate in CCSP training to search cargo and identify threats.
• Perform X-Ray, physical search and explosive trace detection duties.
• Carry out Junior Handler duties with a trained working dog.
• Maintain training records and ensure canine welfare and housing compliance.
• Maintain required certifications and security clearances.
• Operate company vehicle during on-site training as needed.
• Work schedule includes nights, weekends and travel as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
