Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Junior Handler to screen cargo in accordance with TSA rules. The role requires completing a 4–8 week training and certification before mobilization to the assigned location.

You will work with a trained canine team, maintain records, and uphold security clearances while adapting to varying weather and travel requirements. The position involves rotating shifts, possible nights and weekends, and on-site training with potential interstate travel.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities are required.
• Must pass security-related trainings and obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in CCSP related training to search cargo and identify potential threats.
• Conduct duties related to X-Ray, physical search, and explosive trace detection as needed.
• Perform Junior Handler duties while leading a trained working dog.
• Maintain training records and ensure canine living conditions and inspections.
• Maintain all job-related certifications and required security clearances.
• Operate company vehicle during on-site training.
• Work hours vary, including nights, weekends and holidays; travel may be required.
