Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a contracted Speech Language Pathologist to support K8 students near Wyandotte, MI in a school-based setting, delivering essential speech and language services to help students reach communication milestones.

The role includes conducting screenings and evaluations, designing intervention plans, maintaining IEPs and progress reports, collaborating with teachers and families, and staying current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in Michigan (SLP MI credentials required).
• CCC or CFY eligibility.
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings.
• Strong understanding of IEP documentation and school procedures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech/language therapy to K8 students individually and in small groups.
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and design effective intervention plans.
• Develop and maintain accurate, timely IEPs and progress reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families to support student needs.
• Monitor and document student growth, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Stay current with best practices and maintain professional standards.
