Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is seeking a passionate Music Teacher for primary grades to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction at our Glendale campus. You will build foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills while using data to guide lesson planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related content area
• Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject
• Minimum of three years of K–12 teaching experience
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and data-driven instruction
• Pass IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Commitment to Title I and multilingual communities
• Strong analytical skills and collaboration
• Professionalism and initiative in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using AMS curriculum frameworks
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied grade levels
• Use formative and summative assessment data to drive planning and interventions
• Build foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics
• Establish a structured, positive classroom culture
• Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders
• Engage families and lead parent-teacher conferences
