Job summary

KIPP Memphis is seeking a K-8 Math Director to lead math achievement across all K–8 campuses in the network. You will set the vision for rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and coach teachers and school leaders to build strong math practices.

Working with the academics team, you will oversee data cycles, curriculum fidelity, and intervention systems to accelerate student learning, with a focus on equity and closing gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience with a strong track record in mathematics.
• Experience coaching or leading adults (teachers, coaches, instructional leaders).
• Experience teaching in secondary space or leading/coaching secondary teachers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach teachers and instructional leaders on rigorous math practices.
• Model lessons, co-plan, and provide feedback classroom-wide.
• Support high-quality curriculum implementation across K–8 campuses.
• Lead data-driven planning cycles and monitor assessment results.
• Partner with campus teams to ensure effective intervention systems.
• Represent math instruction in network-wide settings.
