Job summary

Constellation Schools in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a qualified Instructional Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the Principal's supervision, you will assist teachers, support students with special needs, and help implement instructional objectives in compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Educational aide or educator licensure required (ESEA qualified).
• 1–2 years’ experience with students with special needs.
• Maturity and patience; ability to support students academically and emotionally.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and restrain a student when necessary.
• Reliable and able to adapt to changes and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist student(s) in working with technology and computer-based learning programs.
• Support teacher with academic requirements and grade-appropriate work.
• Assist with small group instruction and one-to-one student support.
• Participate in and follow safety plans and required trainings.
• Collaborate with administrators, staff and parents; complete paperwork.
