Job summary

Constellation Schools in Cleveland, Ohio seeks a dedicated Instructional Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year to support students with special needs.

You will work one-to-one and in small groups, assist with technology, classroom activities, assessments, and safety procedures, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents. The role requires licensure and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Educational aide or educator licensure required (ESEA Qualified).
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred with students with special needs.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and restrain a student if necessary for safety.
• Able to adapt to changes in the work environment and handle multiple demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with technology and computer-based learning as directed.
• Support small groups and one-to-one instruction with academics and social skills.
• Assist teachers with assessments and classroom projects.
• Maintain safety plans and cooperate with administrators, staff, and parents.
• Complete required training and paperwork.
