ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an Instructional Aide at Wright Preparatory Academy in Canton, Ohio. The role supports teachers, assists with classroom activities, and helps maintain a positive school climate across EK-8th grade.

Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, be proficient in MS Office, and pass a background check. The position involves helping with lessons, planning activities, chaperoning events, and performing clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, two years of college coursework, or the Paraprofessional’s Exam required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet educational standards as applicable.
• Proficiency with MS Office; BCI/FBI check completion required.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups and follows instructional plans.
• Helps plan classroom activities and supports the Teacher with student/parent relations.
• Assists with school activities and events (faculty nights, assemblies, field trips, etc.).
• Performs clerical duties (grading papers, making copies).
• Assists the Teacher in the use of classroom technology.
• Maintains cleanliness of classroom and common areas.
• Complies with school philosophy and policies; supports mission.
• Other duties as assigned (duty rotations, etc.).
