Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions is seeking a hands-on auxiliary staff member to assist teachers in monitoring learning centers and supporting students’ progress. The role involves implementing instructional activities, helping with assessments, and encouraging student engagement across language arts and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Experience working with students or parents as approved by the superintendent.
• Experience in church-related schools, day camps, youth groups, private schools, licensed day-care centers, or similar.
• Or be a high school student 18 years of age or older with specific coursework verified in writing by the district.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher or Coordinator in all areas of work.
• Implement instructional program and lesson plans under supervisor.
• Assist with understanding assessments.
• Assist teachers in checking daily goals to ensure work is completed.
• Motivate students for maximum learning.
• Participate in faculty meetings and teacher training workshops.
• Inspire students to build self-esteem and promote success.
• Be able to facilitate activities that promote speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English.
• Perform special projects during and after normal business hours.
