Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions in Dublin, OH seeks an Assistant Teacher to help monitor the learning center and support students' progress under supervision. You will assist teachers with daily tasks and learning activities, fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Candidates should be a high school graduate or GED holder; some school or youth program experience preferred. Commitment to learning, patience with children, and the ability to follow instruction are essential.

Qualifications

Must be a high school graduate or hold a GED.
Experience working with students or parents as approved by the employing superintendent.
Experience in church related schools, day camps, youth groups, private schools, licensed day-care centers, or similar experience.
Be a high school student 18 years or older with two or more education/training courses verified in writing by the district superintendent.
Courses must include Instructional Practices or Practicum in Education and Training.

Responsibilities

Assist Teacher or Coordinator in all areas of work.
Implement instructional program and lesson plans under supervision.
Aid in understanding assessments.
Assist teachers in checking daily goals to ensure work is completed.
Motivate students for maximum learning.
Participate in faculty and professional meetings, conferences, and training workshops.
Inspire students with consistency and care to build self-esteem and success.
Praise students and encourage them to build character.
Facilitate activities that promote speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English.
Perform special projects during and after hours, and other duties as assigned.
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
