Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a dedicated Special Education professional to support K–6 learners in a floating classroom in Pennsylvania, delivering both emotional support and targeted learning assistance.

The contract runs through June 2027 with an immediate start, 35–40 hours per week. You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop IEP-driven instruction, monitor progress with data, and help students reach their potential in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in K-12 Special Education (PA) is strongly preferred or required.
• Emergency certification considered for those with relevant experience.
• Experience with IEP development and case management.
• Experience providing emotional and learning support in K-12 settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) ensuring compliance and student success.
• Deliver specialized instruction to support students with emotional and learning needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families.
• Use data-driven strategies to monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Support transitions between grade levels as part of floating responsibilities.
• Foster student engagement, self-advocacy, and social-emotional development.
