Job summary

SISTERS ELEM. SCHOOL is seeking a Limited Duration, Full-time STEM Teacher for Sisters Elementary School. The eight-hour workday runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, starting October 2026.

The role emphasizes hands-on STEM, NGSS-aligned lessons, and a strong focus on inquiry, collaboration, and real-world connections for K–5 students. The successful candidate will hold a valid Oregon teaching license, have strong communication skills, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Must have valid TSPC Oregon Elementary Teaching License.
• Submission of professional application materials.
• Good communication skills with staff, parents and community.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers STEM instruction for students in grades K–5.
• Creates a safe, engaging environment using NGSS standards.
• Collaborates with teachers and staff to integrate STEM across the curriculum.
• Maintains classroom routines and manages behavior effectively.
• Provides developmentally appropriate, hands-on STEM experiences.
