Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with 6–8 endorsement; Mathematics (EX) endorsement preferred.
• Strong base in subject area content and standards.
• Ability to use assessments and student data to drive instruction.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and colleagues.
• Willingness to contribute to a safe, high-expectations school climate.

Responsibilities

• Teach STEM to middle school students with focus on curiosity and problem solving.
• Incorporate PBIS/MTSS initiatives and data-driven instruction.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and district colleagues to support student achievement.
• Integrate technology into teaching and learning practices.
• Undertake extra-curricular assignments as needed.
