Great Hearts Archway Roosevelt is seeking a Special Education Teaching Assistant for K-5 to support academics and behavior in a classroom setting. Candidates should have a high school diploma or higher; an associate degree or 60 credits is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• Associate degree or 60 credit hours preferred.
• Passing score on ADE assessment acceptable if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Support students in small groups or 1:1.
• Assist with assignments, homework, and projects.
• Adapt materials and provide modifications to aid learning.
• Reinforce classroom rules and support behavior.
• Monitor behavior and apply de-escalation as needed.
• Provide transitions support and clerical assistance.
