Great Hearts Academies’ Archway Classical Scottsdale is seeking a Special Education Teaching Assistant for K-5. This on-site role supports students in both general and special education settings under certified teachers, with duties spanning academic support, behavior and transition assistance, and clerical tasks to keep ESS teams efficient.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and experience in special education. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in special education is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students in small groups or 1:1
• Assist with assignments, homework, projects
• Adapt materials and provide modifications
• Reinforce classroom rules and behavior expectations
• Assist with transitions and daily routines
• Provide clerical support for the ESS Team
