Job summary

Reading Results Tutors work with students during the school day, delivering an effective, individualized reading intervention designed to accelerate skills for early-grade students. Tutors operate within the school schedule, three times weekly for 2–2.5 hours, and participate in ongoing coaching and professional development to achieve proficiency.

New tutors spend the first year learning to implement the Reading Results Program, with supervision and opportunities for additional teaching

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring or teaching reading to elementary students.
• Willingness to participate in training and coaching.
• Ability to work within a school-day tutoring schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Reading Results program with fidelity as directed by the supervisor.
• Engage in ongoing training and coaching to achieve proficiency.
• Collaborate with school teams to support student success.
