Job summary

Studyville, LLC is seeking a Part-Time HDT Tutor for the Literacy & Math program (K–5). You will deliver small-group instruction during the school day using our provided curriculum with no lesson planning required.

Responsibilities include tracking attendance and student progress, and maintaining a positive school-community presence. The role offers a 10-week school-year assignment with potential extension, 6–10 hours per week, and opportunities to work across multiple schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience teaching or tutoring in a professional setting.
• Ability to work with K–5 students in small groups.
• Reliable transportation to assigned schools.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and fingerprinting as required by Louisiana state law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current teaching certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Literacy and/or math instruction to small groups of K–5 students.
• Use provided curriculum with no lesson planning.
• Track attendance and daily student progress.
• Be a reliable, positive presence in the school community.
• Deliver instruction in literacy and/or math during the school day.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student goals.
