Job summary

STUDYVILLE LLC in Chalmette and Gretna, LA is seeking a Part-Time HDT Tutor to work with K–5 students during the school day. You will deliver literacy and/or math instruction using our curriculum with no lesson planning, helping students close gaps and reach grade level.

This role emphasizes reliability, collaboration with teachers, and attendance tracking, with a 10-week schedule and 6–10 hours weekly, offering $25–$30 per hour plus stipends and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience teaching or tutoring in a professional setting.
• Ability to work with K–5 students in small groups.
• Reliable transportation to assigned schools.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and fingerprinting as required by Louisiana state law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Literacy & Math Instruction in small groups (1–4 students) per school placement.
• Use provided curriculum with no lesson planning.
• Adjust pacing and support to meet each student’s needs.
• Progress tracking in StudyTrack and reporting to HDT Program Coordinator.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student goals.
