Job summary

Studyville LLC is hiring a Part-Time HDT Tutor to work with small groups of K–5 students during the school day, using our provided curriculum with no lesson planning required.

Role includes 10 week assignments with 6–10 hours per week, potential to work with multiple schools, and compensation of $25–$30 per hour plus stipends and bonuses. Paid training and career advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of teaching or tutoring in a professional setting.
• Ability to work with K–5 students in small groups.
• Reliable transportation to assigned schools.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and fingerprinting as required by Louisiana state law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current teaching certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Literacy & Math Instruction: Work with small groups (1–4 students) in 30–45 minute sessions on literacy and/or math per school placement.
• Curriculum Delivery: Use the Tutor Tool Kit and all provided materials; follow the provided scope and sequence.
• Progress Tracking: Record attendance and daily student progress in StudyTrack; communicate concerns or progress updates.
• School Community Partnership: Be a reliable, positive presence in the school community; collaborate with teachers and staff.
