Qualifications

• Valid Intervention Specialist or Special Education teaching license for Kindergarten through 5th grade.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; master's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, IEP requirements, and best practices.
• Experience providing both small-group intervention and inclusive classroom support.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, progress monitoring, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
• Deliver individualized and small-group intervention based on student needs, IEP goals, progress-monitoring data, and classroom performance.
• Provide pull-out services for targeted, intensive, or individualized instruction in a small-group setting.
• Provide push-in services within general education classrooms to support students in accessing grade-level instruction.
• Co‑teach and collaborate with general education teachers using inclusive instructional practices.
• Differentiate instruction and provide accommodations and modifications to support learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
• Collaborate with teachers to identify barriers to learning and develop strategies to support students within the general education environment.
