Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher to promote quality instruction; copy, organize, grade, file classwork and art.
• Record grades in the gradebook and maintain orderly attendance and behavior files.
• Help maintain a structured, safe, and clean classroom environment.
• Provide individualized or small-group instruction when needed.
• Participate in school training and meetings with staff and administration.
• Collaborate with staff, teachers, and parents/caregivers; assist with recess and duties as assigned.
• Perform teaching duties as a substitute when needed.
