Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years’ experience in educational programming or as an educational aide preferred.
• Experience supervising children and supporting teachers in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with instruction and small-group/individual support.
• Report student progress and behavior to the teacher.
• Maintain safe, orderly learning environment and follow health/safety practices.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with lesson plans and materials.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, and lunch as assigned.
