Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required).
• Valid North Carolina teaching license in Special Education or eligibility.
• Knowledge of specially designed instruction, IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements instruction aligned with NC standards and IEP goals.
• Provides specially designed instruction using varied formats and modified materials.
• Maintains structured classroom with routines, visual supports, and positive behavioral strategies.
• Collaborates with families, EC staff, and related service providers; participates in IEP meetings.
