Job summary

BASIS Phoenix Primary is seeking a Student Academics Specialist to lead data-driven instruction and MTSS interventions for grades K–5. You will partner with teachers, families, and school leadership to identify needs and drive targeted supports.

The role emphasizes instructional coaching, data analysis, and collaboration to ensure strong academic growth across the elementary grades. This position is on-site at BASIS Phoenix Primary with a focus on student achievement and intervention fidelity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in education, curriculum, administration, or a related field preferred.
• Current teaching certification or appropriate educational credentials preferred.
• Elementary teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead data meetings with teachers to identify trends and next steps for instruction.
• Monitor MTSS and progress-monitoring data for grades K–5.
• Coach teachers in using assessment data to inform instruction.
• Coordinate academic review meetings and intervention planning sessions.
• Collaborate with families to communicate student progress and intervention plans.
