Job summary

Hoke County Schools is seeking an Academic Coach for the Raeford, North Carolina area. This full-time, 10-month position reports to the Principal and the Assistant Superintendent of PreK-5th Grade Curriculum & Instruction.

Salary follows the NC State Salary Schedule, with exempt status. The role requires NC teacher licensure, a minimum of five years of classroom teaching, and a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).

Qualifications

• Must hold current North Carolina teacher licensure.
• Minimum of five years successful classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor beginning teachers and teachers new to Hoke County Schools.
• Teach and model research-based best practices and instructional programs.
• Lead coaching cycles and train teachers on assessment tools and data analysis.
