Job summary

EDU Healthcare is supporting a K–4 Special Education (LBS1)/Diverse Learner role in Chicago. You will develop and implement IEPs, modify curriculum for diverse learners, and provide individualized instruction in small group and one‑to‑one settings.

Qualifications

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
Active state licensure or certification or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
Modify curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Provide specialized instruction in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
Track student progress and update IEPs throughout the school year.
Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and IEP team members.
Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines.
