Denver Language School in Denver, CO seeks a Temporary K-4 Special Education Teacher for the Whiteman Campus. The role focuses on delivering IEP services, implementing behavioral interventions, and supporting early elementary students with self-regulation and school readiness.

Strong collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams is essential. Qualifications include a Colorado SPED license and a Bachelor's degree; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Colorado Special Education teaching license is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in special education; licensed candidates prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IEP service minutes via push-in and pull-out services.
• Design instructional plans and interventions for individual goals.
• Support accommodations/modifications within general ed classrooms.
• Develop FBAs and BIPs with data collection and team collaboration.
• Monitor progress and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with related service providers for student supports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families and staff.
• Support K-1 students in social-emotional development and self-regulation.
