Job summary

Independence Preparatory Academy in Fairfield, AL is a new, academically challenging, highly structured, and joyful K-8 school. We opened with 60 students in K-2 in August 2025 and plan to grow to 485 students through 8th grade, building a community focused on rigorous academics and character development.

We seek Elementary Teachers with a Bachelor's degree and 1–2+ years of teaching experience (Alabama certification preferred) or a GPA of 3.0 with growth in a supportive feedback-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–2+ years of teaching experience; Alabama certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and growth mindset in a feedback-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Teach in a structured, joyful, and academically rigorous environment.
• Deliver data-driven instruction and monitor student growth.
• Provide weekly coaching and 6+ hours of protected planning time.
• Contribute to building a high-performing school from the ground up
