Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy seeks elementary teachers specializing in 3rd through 5th Grades for its growing network of charter schools. You will help students develop mastery through assessments and collaborate with other teachers for cross-curricular alignment.

Applicants should have expertise in Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies, and ESL; electives include Art, Spanish, and PE. Bachelor's required; Alabama license or reciprocity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree strongly preferred.
• Alabama teaching license or reciprocal license required/eligible.
• Enrollment in certification program with licensure eligibility.
• Two to four years urban teaching and educational leadership experience.

• Uses data analysis of student performance to inform best practices
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and district regulations
• Works extended school day for collaboration, professional development, and communication with parents and staff
• Collaborates with Head of School, Assistant Head of School, and Dean of Students to support all students
• Completes other tasks as assigned by Head of School or School Based Administrative staff
