Job summary

Cumberland County School District is seeking a teacher assistant to support the instructional program at the assigned school. You will assist in supervising and instructing students with special needs, observe and document progress, and help implement instructional plans.

Responsibilities include small-group work to improve ELA and Math skills. Minimum requirements include an Associate's degree or 60 college hours, or a passing Parapro test.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of 60 college credits from an accredited institution.
• Passing score on Parapro test as an alternative credential.
• Employment offers contingent upon TBIs background check, fingerprinting and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision and instruction of students, including those with special needs.
• Observe and document student progress.
• Implement instructional plans in collaboration with teachers.
• Assist students in small group settings to improve ELA and Math skills.
