Zusammenfassung

Alpha is hiring for a full-time, on-site Elementary Learning Coach to guide K–3 students through app-based core learning and targeted literacy sessions. You will diagnose decoding gaps, design sequences, and monitor transfer with small groups, while staying with students through meals and campus activities.

Relocation support is available. Requirements include 3+ years with children aged 4–9, 2+ years teaching reading in K–3, and structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 (teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs).
• At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 (within last 5 years).
• Completed structured-literacy training (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS or similar) or master’s in reading/literacy.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Aufgaben

• Get every K-3 student to their daily learning goals and close reading gaps.
• Lead targeted, short literacy sessions for groups of 2–4 students.
• Guide students through app-based core learning, with daily goals and progress tracking.
• Maintain presence with students during meals and campus routines to support learning.
• Use assessments and data to identify gaps and tailor interventions.
