Job summary

Alpha seeks an Elementary Learning Coach to guide K–3 students through app-based core learning, diagnose reading gaps, and run short targeted sessions. You will stay with the same students all day, from morning launch to closing, using data to name gaps and drive weekly app goals.

This is a full-time, on-site role with relocation support; requires 3 years direct work with children 4–9, 2 years reading instruction in K–3, and structured-literacy training or a reading master’s.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4–9
• At least 2 years of that experience teaching reading in grades K–3 within the last 5 years
• Completed structured-literacy training: LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS, Really Great Reading, or similar; or a master’s in reading or literacy
• Bachelor’s degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required

Responsibilities

• Get every K‑3 student to their daily learning goals and close reading gaps
• Lead targeted structured‑literacy sessions with small groups
• Coach students through app‑based core learning and campus routines
• Drive students to weekly app goals with school currency and gamification
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and reading interventions
