Job summary

Alpha School in Greenwich, CT seeks a Student Success Coach to guide K–3 students through app-based core learning and reading activities on-site. You will diagnose gaps, design targeted sequences, and monitor progress toward daily goals while staying with students through lunch and recess.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years with children 4–9, 2+ years reading coaching in K–3, and formal structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading. This is a full-time, on-site role at an Alpha campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certificate not required.
• Master’s in reading or literacy preferred or equivalent structured-literacy training.
• Minimum 3 years working with children 4–9; 2 years coaching reading in K–3.

Responsibilities

• Guide K–3 students through app-based learning and daily routines.
• Diagnose reading gaps, design targeted sequences, track progress weekly.
• Lead morning launches, workshops, and classroom routines with energy.
