Job summary

Alpha, opening campuses nationwide, seeks a Student Success Coach to guide K‑3 students through app-based core learning and close reading gaps. You will diagnose decoding issues, design short sequences, and monitor progress with weekly goals.

Expect on-site, full-time work at a campus, with relocation support as needed. You will spend most of your day guiding students through app-based learning, literacy workshops, and campus routines, staying with them from launch to closing.

Qualifications

• Three years direct work with children ages 4–9 (teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, etc.).
• Two years coaching students on reading in grades K–3 within the last 5 years.
• Structured literacy training (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS) or a master’s in reading/literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required.
• Willing to work on-site with about 90% time guiding students through app-based learning and 10% on reading sessions.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning: spot where stuck and unblock them.
• Run short structured‑literacy sessions with 2–4 students and diagnose gaps.
• Lead morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
• Drive students to weekly app goals with school currency and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a plan to address frustration.
