Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Program Director to lead and coach guidance teams for K-3 students. You will own a cohort, drive performance through data, and deliver live workshops focused on life skills, public speaking, and collaboration.

You will craft repeatable playbooks and train Guides to maintain high standards as the team expands. You’ll work on a hands-on basis with day-to-day coaching, never distant from classrooms, and you’ll ensure measurable progress through coaching conversations and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development or related field.
• At least 5 years working with elementary-aged children (5–9).
• Experience leading a team of 5+ people and making performance-based hires/removals.
• Experience building, launching, or growing a program, team, school, or initiative from the ground up.
• Comfortable in a school rejecting traditional teaching methods.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and feedback to meet measurable goals.
• Facilitate one-hour live workshops for K-3 students on life skills like public speaking and focus.
• Run motivation sessions linking goals to real academic progress.
• Build and refine playbooks to scale best practices across the team.
• Train Guides on playbooks and model excellence as the team grows.
