Job summary

Math Corps is seeking tutors in Coralville, IA to help students build math skills during school hours. You’ll tutor groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes, following structured activities and coordinating with an onsite coach.

Qualifications

• Be dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
