Math Corps is seeking a Math Tutor to work on-site at a local school, helping students build math skills through small-group sessions.

You'll tutor groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes daily, track progress, and collaborate with an on-site coach. The role emphasizes reliability, willingness to learn, and effective communication; typical schedule runs Monday to Friday during the school year, with 35 hours per week and a biweekly AmeriCorps stipend.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Dependable with consistent attendance and able to take feedback.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training
• Share your experience with the community
