Job summary

International Leadership of Texas is seeking certified or non-certified teachers in Texas to join our dynamic campuses. The compensation package starts at $65,000 for certified teachers and $62,000 for non-certified teachers, with a $1,000 K-2 Grade-Level hiring incentive and a $5,000 Liberty County stipend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas teaching certificate or eligibility.
• Proven competency in core academic subject area.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Ability to plan and implement instruction aligned to TEA standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lessons reflecting district curriculum requirements with accommodations where needed.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials to address diverse learning needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEP students.
• Coordinate with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Prepare and maintain records and materials as required.
• Provide ongoing assessment of student achievement and sponsor extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Create a positive classroom environment; manage behavior per policy.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and the community.
• Participate in staff development and comply with regulations and policies.
• Contribute to team meetings and school initiatives.
