Job summary

Pearson, within the Virtual Schools division, seeks a Districts Service Delivery Consultant to drive teacher hiring, onboarding, professional development, and supervision for partner schools. You will lead a cross-functional team and manage service delivery while ensuring compliance and strong school outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven performance, and collaboration across Success Partners, School Leaders, and HR, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• K-12 teaching experience; virtual teaching experience preferred.
• Experience supervising educators in an academic setting.
• Master’s degree in a related field required.
• Valid teaching credential (any state).
• Strong leadership qualities and accountability toward student outcomes.
• Ability to analyze and interpret performance-based data.
• Comfort presenting to groups of any size.
• Technological proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
• Excellent written and oral communication; customer-focused.
• Creative problem solver with adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Lead organizational redesign and provide coaching during transitions.
• Deliver services to a group of partner schools; ensure successful outcomes.
• Build relationships with school leaders to support services.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams delivering services.
• Coordinate services to meet partner school needs.
• Identify staffing needs and collaborate with leaders to fill roles.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for all services.
• Work with Academic Services to prepare team members.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Partners for cohesive services.
• Set goals and monitor team performance; drive accountability.
• Partner with internal and external teams to advance school success.
• Hire, supervise, and assess staff; provide growth feedback.
• Manage department budget alignment with priorities.
• Serve as a think-partner and collaborator; perform other duties as assigned.
