Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to interact with staff, parents and students.
• Experience planning and managing IT budgets and purchases.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience with school district IT systems and device management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual technology budget.
• Oversee evaluation and acquisition of software/hardware.
• Assist in bid specifications for hardware/software.
• Complete E-rate forms to maximize discounts.
• Cultivate vendor relationships and manage contracts.
• Serve as Systems Administrator for key systems (Synergy, Google Workspace).
• Maintain hardware in classrooms and offices.
• Asset management and lifecycle procedures.
• Maintain server room security and backups.
• Develop policies and standards for technology operations.
• Respond to concerns from stakeholders to inform on policies.
