Uncommon Schools is a nonprofit network of high-performing public charter schools delivering a rigorous K-12 education in economically disadvantaged communities. We seek Pre-K-12 teachers for all grades and all subjects for the 25-26 and 26-27 school years, offering weekly coaching, PD, and support to grow as educators.

Responsibilities include implementing curricula, analyzing progress data, differentiating instruction, creating a positive classroom environment, and communicating with families

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree earned before employment begins.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher by the time employment begins.
• Experience in urban public/charter schools preferred; state certification and master's helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement curricula and activities to meet high academic standards.
• Analyze assessments to measure progress and differentiate instruction.
• Focus on student learning and critical thinking.
• Create a positive, structured learning environment aligned with core values and conduct code.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Participate in annual orientation and ongoing instructional training.
• Support grade-level and school-wide activities.
