Uncommon Schools is seeking teachers for all grades and subjects for the 25-26 and 26-27 school years. All teachers will implement Uncommon's curriculum and contribute to our students' success through collaborative, targeted professional development.

We seek both experienced and apprentice teachers who are committed to improving instructional practices, prioritizing student learning, and upholding our core beliefs in urban education.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree before employment begins.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher by employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Implement curricula and activities to meet high academic standards.
• Analyze assessments and use data to inform instruction and differentiation.
• Maintain a positive, structured learning environment aligned with school values and conduct policy.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth through staff orientation and year-long training.
• Participate in grade-level activities and school-wide functions throughout the year.
