Job summary

Providence Public Schools seeks an exceptional Speech Language Pathologist to join its district team. This role focuses on screening, evaluating, and providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders across PK-12 in a diverse urban setting.

The position reports to the Principal and requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and RIDE certification. ESL certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech language pathology from an accredited college or university.
• RIDE Certification Requirements: All Grades Speech and Language Pathologist, Grades PK-12.
• ESL Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate and provide services to students with communication disorders.
• Administer speech and language screening procedures and report findings to the team.
• Utilize measures for evaluating disorders and write evaluations.
• Develop goals and objectives for students based on evaluative data.
• Implement and monitor the Individual Educational Program (IEP).
• Collaborate with the IEP team to develop and implement plans.
