Job summary

Greater Good Student Support Services in Oakland, CA is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, developing personalized therapy plans and collaborating with families and school staff.

This role requires a Master’s in SLP, state licensure, and CCC-SLP. Experience with telepractice and remote therapy delivery platforms is preferred to enhance service

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the United States.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to clients in various settings, including schools, clinics, and homes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare providers, and families, to coordinate care and support.
• Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for stakeholders and insurance purposes.
• Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development.
• Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and strategies to support improvement.
